The wick pots help you to take care of your plants when you leave your home or office for days 1) Place the cotton rope inside the black container according to the photo provided. 2) Put a thin layer of soil (preferably fabric soil) to cover the cotton rope. 3) Place your plant inside the wicking pot and cover it with plant soil. 4) Pour about half an inch of water inside the white pot. The water level must not be over the bottom of the black inner wick pot; otherwise, the root will not have room to breathe and could drown to death because there is too much water. (See the photo for the proper water level). 5) Refill the water about once a week.
